How playing
imported games on DreamCast ?
Dreamcast swap trick
This swap method is very simple and it works for American, European and Japanese versions of the Dreamcast.
the modification before swaptricks
I- insert the original region disk
(if your Dreamcast come from US, use an US game or the demo US disk)
II-
Turn on your DreamCast. A menu will come on and ask you to set the time and
date. At this point the game will still be spinning.
III- Now wait 2-3 minutes for the
lens and motor to stop running. If you don't want to wait for the disk stop
spinning, you can remove it while turning (it's better to wait for the disk to
stop itself)...
Once the motor has stopped running, insert your imported
game.
With your controller choose "Select" on the menu screen and press the
A button.
At this point the game will begin to spin and should be able to
load like any other game.
THE MODIFICATION !!!!
only to do is disconnect the date, time......battery inside DC
1. Remove the 4
screws on the dreamcast.
| 2. Once you remove the cover of the Dreamcast locate the sensor on the top right hand corner of the Dreamcast and place some rubber band so the switch is held forward in place. |  |

3. cut the
electronic barrier connection (the sliver line) on the pads
connecting board
every time you turn on the DC, the DC may ask you to setup the time and date !!! |
screw the cover
of the DreamCast... and ALL IS DONE !!!
The principe is to disconnect the
ribbon pad to reset the internal CMOS clock... but, if you turn off the battery,
the result is the same.
You needn't to disconnect and reconnect every time
the ribbon pad and to let the DreamCast open...
